I wonder about AI setting for toons.

Is it possibly for Koei come up with plan that let player to set his alts for battle, dungeon, etc ?. I have seen some games such as Star Ocean 3, Dragon Warrior IV, etc that had success with AI setting. VCO has sort of AI settings to let players to fight or production once they reach destination.
