I start the day in NA collecting, but go to the company building in Lisbon for our long planned company Windriders/Stormriders event.
------------
Thanks to Taichen, JasmineRP and Korendir for planning that. I was working for 95% of the event, but managed to get in the company group photo. . The company gave away approximately 35B in prizes! I had a photo but can't seem to insert it properly. I'll just leave a link to the Windrider clan website.
After the event, I took the company liner to EA, and did a wreck in Siberia Sea East and then some Nanban before coming back to San Fran -> Boston and Seville.
While in NA collecting white ore, I make R15 collections. 1810 Discoveries.
=======
Oct 2nd, Day 351
Collecting in NA. Took a liner to EA, did one.. yes one wreck in Siberia Sea East.
I loaded a company mate up with 2000 copper and 2000 copper ore into his aide bazaar,then did my own Nanban trade of Copper and brought a load of EA goods back thru SF/Boston.
========
Oct 3rd, Day 352
Back to NA. Investing in railroads. Collecting goods for XP.
=========
Oct 4th, Day 353
Spent the evening just handing out copper ore and copper metal from Manilla to company mates trying to work up their EA culture points.I wasn't even in a metal trader type job, and my mineral trade skill was still R10+10, Marchan Boots +2, Amulet +2, Refined skill +2, College skill +2,Golden Sceptre +2. Just cost me maybe 1500 vigor food.
=========
Oct 5th, Day 354.
Not much time to play the game anymore. Came back from Ea with a load of goods, and set up an aide bazaar. Then I spent a few hours in the evening helping 2 company mates work their sewing skills in Oslo. I made R13 refined Sewing. I was R12+8, then R13+7. I probably gave away/used a total of 4000 vigor food in that few hours.
========
Oct 6th, Day 355
Discovered "Secondary Rainbow" (Natural Phenomenon) in Galapagos interior. Charted both Galapagos Island South Coast and Galapagos Interior. I am at 267/287 areas charted. I am also close to making level 85 adventure.
------
Did a couple of wrecks and made R11 Salvage and R10 recognition.
The timing of wrecks is much more relaxed and I can actually make some decent money on the items I discover on a wreck.In the past I would easily do 5+ wrecks per day which would typically lead to 20 or so items clogging up my inventory, so I would put them in my Scurvy Trader's Junk aide Bazaar for 1 ducat each. Now I will do 2 wrecks tops and put the parts/items at a reasonable price in my bazaar.
-----------
End of day, Passed 200 Shipwrecks, 1820 discoveries.
=========
Oct 8th Day 357
I did a couple shipwrecks and some quests. On the way back from a wreck in northern Russia, I brought EA goods back and put them up in a Bazaar. My alts EA culture is all 50k's.
--------
My adventure fame is more than my maritime fame!... 401k vs 399K.
========
Oct 9-10 Day 358-359
Not much to report, a few quests in SEA, Asia and a load of EA goods to bring back to NA.
Again not much to report, over the last few days. a few quests, a few ship wrecks, collecting in NA.
----------
Today I made level 85 Adventure.
---------
Switched to Maritime and will be doing a 1 battle report on weekend days and half a BR during week days.I will break that pattern if my company mates need help with something or for the NA festival.
---------
The only thing of note here is that I started doing the BR with my alt.. and decided to get the Supply corpse job quest.I used a blessing of Poseidon and went thru the Suez canal and quickly finished the quest.Now my alt can use surgery and repair while I am in melee and I don't have to stop at ports to gain new sailors.
My plunder skill is going up quickly.I have an aide with seize cargo and it is active.
I also have successful plundering 2 and general check active as two of my college skills.
I am fighting without guns and the battles vs 4 fleets sometimes lasts 10+ minutes. My alt got from R1-R6 surgery and R6-R8 repair in 1 battle report.
---------
On a funny note, while I was in melee vs a 4 fleet, a low level pirate level 55 or so in a nice ship sailed back and forthover me while I was fighting.He was hoping to catch me in a weakened state after such a battle.Shortly after I won that battle,he sailed past me again but did not engage.I did initiate battle with him.After a minute of trying to engage him in melee, I left the battle ring as I could not catch him.He shot me several times but did not do much damage.I had no guns, no armor and no sails on my ship. So I went to port (Sevastapol)and put on some sails and made some basic armor from Iron.When I set sail again, the pirate was gone.
-----------
Tomorrow evening is NA festival, but I have evening meetings. The only thing I can probably do is some theses to get my credits back to 60k.
==========
Oct 15th, Day 364
Working all day and an evening meeting to boot.
Not much to report. Just did a few Boston College thesis and processed some chickens and eggs.
I do not know how relevant this is but I have 19 pages in my memorial album.

In general I sail a G4 Cruise High Clipper 5/5 537/621 (with sails)29T 21W 22A 519 Cargo with Exploration Refit and Haul assistance, Ship speed up 1, I guess I can change the Exploration Refit now and do some overmods. requires 75/38/30 to sail.

My cargo ship which is sailed by my alt now is a G3 4/5 Windjammer.It was made before the overmod changes to the ship system and could stand to use 3-4 more mods to get its turn and wave up. Requires 65/75/30 to sail.
---------
I have 429 College Theses completed for Oxford and 209 Theses completed for Boston College.There are still a few of both that I have not completed at least once.
my Quarters are R5 and I have 7 ornaments on display in my ornament room giving me the Ornament Display effects of
1) increased Cultural Contribution Rank 1
2) Increase land speed Rank 1
3) Headache Reduction Rank 1
4) Reduce Vigor consumptiopn Rank 1
5) Increase skill effect duration Rank 1
------------
I have no pet.
-----------
I have not completed ANY treasure hunts.
----------
I have invested about 3B in railways and have unlocked all destinations, +20 xp per great success, large gold nugget appraisal bonus level 8 (bonus not specified) , 30% railroad fee discounts, increase load transportation by 50%,+2 tow tickets per day at the port official in a NA port.
Not much going on. Did lots of theses in Boston while I was working on other stuff. Helped some other players get their weapon finesse up.
==========
Oct 19-20, Day 368-369
Battle reports in the Black sea. I also sailed to the Caribbean to do the Grand admiral quest. I need to skill my Arms up to R9 to take advantage of my ship's skill "improved gun port"
---------
I complete the 5 chain quest and pick up the Job Grand Admiral.
--------
Before I take the job, I sail to Hamburg and switch to Steam Engineer first. I work and make R12 Management.
==========
Oct 21-22, Day 370-371
More Battle reports in the black sea. I switch to Grand Admiral and make R8 Arms. Once I get to R9, I will switch from melee/arms grinding to cannoneer and cannon skills.
I completed two more Battle reports since day 371 and finally made Arms R9.
========
October 28th, Day 377
I start off by going to Manchester to make some Carronade 18's.I switch to cannoneer job and begin my cannon skill grind in the Black sea. I completed two more Battle reports since day 371. slowly grinding my cannon skills.I did not make any levels in skills, but the skill points are slowly rising. Today Box #6 is available in NA, so I will take a short break to help out some company mates, then go fill up on Box #6.I will have to do some Nanban runs as my cash reserves are really low, Less than 500M.
========
October 31, Day 380
I am in EA, just bazaaring Huzhou Brushes. I buy copper ore from manilla, process it and trade it in Huzhou.I put the brushes in an aide bazaar and go to work or sleep.
2x per day and im doing ok. Not great but I spend minimal time playing. I am just building up my cash stockpile.
=========
November 4th, Day 384
Not much to report.
I completed a couple of BR in the Black Sea this weekend and made level 82 Maritime.
EA Brushes are selling for 56k in Seville.The area is swamped with EA goods.There is a new feature open called "Rare Goods"They are typically normal goods but are in high demand in different locations.I have not done much research on the items, but it makes gathering ducats much easier as well as Trade xp.
=====
Nov 8th, Day 388
In EA 3 days in a row. Just buying copper ore in Manilla and trading it for brushes in Quanzhou.Not a lot of action, but its almost Ideal for the 20 minutes I am on in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening. Trade for some brushes, set up a bazaar and go to work. After work, trade for brushes , set up a bazaar and go to sleep!
=======
November 12, Day 392
Did 4 Battle reports in 3 days.I had to take a break after BR #3 to go refill my inventory with 18' Carronades. Made R12 Reload and am close to leveling maritime.
-----------
Thanksgiving Starts this evening so I will swap to land battle mode and help out company mates if they want to level and work finesse skills.
I spent the festival days1 hour doing land battles, helping company mates work their finesse.My throwing dagger finesse is now 30/17/14. Obviously I was helping them work Power finesse.I also did some collecting of berries and working my R16->R17 Cooking as a Chef with the Boston college chef skill active.The new buildings in Boston college is open and I obtained about 15 new Thesis opportunities.
------------
I checked my cultural contributions and I made level 10.I have not been spending any points taking multiple quests for a while now, so the points are stacking up.This is my first time on this server to make level 10.
---------
Yesterday and today I sailed to Istanbul and restarted my Battle report grind.
I made R12 Penetration and made 83 Maritime.
-----------
85/85/83
==============
Nov 18, Day 398
Spent the day in NA collecting White ore to restock my MCCT's I am totally out.I stay in NA in Newfoundland until I finish making 2800 MCCTs.I stock up on Berries as well before I sail back to Europe.
Back to the Black Sea doing Battle Reports. I choose Swordmaster this time and work my melee skills.I make R11 Assault.
-------
Nov 24, Day 404
I changed up and do some adventure quests during the week. On the weekend I help a company mate grind casting and sewing.
-----------
I pass 1850 discoveries.No more quests from many cities now. I have turned on Hide completed quests, so only some simple repeatable language quests show up now (not chain quest fillers.)
==========
Nov 28th, Day 408
I am camped out in Jakarta.It is the city with the most open quests by far.I only wish there was a closer place to change jobs.
-----
Discovered Yellow Sand (Natural Phenomenon) in Loess Plateau while doing the Great Wall of China quest.
Still camped in Jakarta doing 3-4 quests per day. and maybe 10 on the weekends.
--------
I did Leshan Giant Buddah Dungeon 3 times with a company mate. It is funny that I am sailing around with less than full sails.Some of my sails were damaged and now I have an empty slots.I usually seal them from my alt, but he has ZERO sails on his ship. Because I do most of my sailing AFK with tow permits, it does not really bother me.I have gone from 200/200 tow permits down to about 75/75 in the last ten days. Other than that , not much to report.
-------
Passed 1930 discoveries.
========
December 5th, Day 415
Discovered Antisolar Rays (Natural Phenomenon) in Guam.
That is the longest break between post so far. I have been super busy with work and only get on to do 3 quests per day.
-----------
There was a NA festival this week and I just went and set up to do collections and cooking/storing chickens/eggs.From all the berries I collected, I fished a ton and turn them all into salted fish nuts. I took the Bostston Cook thesis and made R17+3 cooking base. (R17 cooking +1 Job+2 Refined= R20 without any aides or items)
--------
This weekend is the first chance I really got to do some adventuring.I did about 10 quest per day.My adventure fame is close to max now 446,000 adventure fame. I will have to defect very soon.
--------
Passed 2020 discoveries.
======
Dec 21 Day 431
Did 2 battle reports in India (Safe Waters). Made Reload R13. Moved to Europe and found that I will need 200 patriot awards to defect from Ottoman to Dutch. I leveled in Maritime.There is a boost to everything now on now for the new launching of Uncharted Waters again on Steam.It will last until January 23rd or so.It is sad that This is 430+ days after the launch. I used to play from Steam, but no more.
----------
Switched to Trade skills. Geared up and used up a lot of PO3's and went from R8 to R12+8 Craft Trade. College +2, Coral Jewelery +2 Aide +1, Line of Chiftains Clothes +2, Dance Company boots +1.I am ready for the Nanban sale in SanFrancisco.
--------
I also worked on my Spice Trade Skill. Refined Spice Trade.
--------
Ended up really low on funds so I decided to do a couple of EA runs.
Did a few more runs to EA. I spent a lot of money to buy Box #6 from the Millionaire in Boston. It is a good deal as the two worst items are a tunic and bagels. The bagels come in really handy while I am in Manilla. I have moved up from trading copper to now trading in Western Books.With refined textile trade, I purchase lots of manilla and convert it into paper and then books.The bagels really help as it takes a lot of vigor to use "fibre order" the new skill that comes with refined textile trade.
==========
Dec 25th Day 435
Made R10 firearms trade,R11 Luxury Trade and R12 Alcohol Trade., R10 Metal Trade.
=========
Dec 31st, Day 441
Starting on my Alchemy Grind. From R10, 1112/10,000. I start with making +2 furniture in Venice.The goal is R13 by January 10th.Started off with +2 furniture in Venice. It is a huge benefit to have refined wares trade, and R11+7 Craft Trade.I stocked up on Lumber in Beirut and Glassware in Naples and set up to grind in Venice.At the end of that grind, I used up about 2600 stomach meds and maybe 800 Ventus Reductions and 800 Funnels.All of these items were left over from my last Alchemy grind and I didn't have enough time to make a ton of stomach meds.I can't remember, but I think the 2600 stomach meds I stockpiled after the last Papaya skill booster bonus.
More Alchemy. I scrounged up some clay and made about 10(+3 consumable) and 10 (+3 trade good) furniture.It was more for the consumable furniture that I needed to make because the Alchemy Experiments with stomach meds damages the furniture when it fails.
Switched to making R12 Gold recipes. I am R11+1 for job and can make gold with 15 mercury and 15 Rare books.This time its Wares trade in Seville. I take and stockpile 4000 Mercury in London. I get about 3000 western books in Amsterdam with R9+7 Sundries Trade, then buy 12,000 Paper in London to turn them into 4000 Rare books.
------------
End of day I make Alchemy R12
=========
Jan 2nd, Day 443
More of the same. I run out of bagels! 750 #6 boxes and I eat every bagel.Too bad wares trade is not a preferred skill for Alchemists. I would be R15 Refined already.
I have over 500 headache meds and 1000's of gold which I just sell at the market keeper.
-----
End of day I make Alchemy R13 and have the Adept Title.
to take advantage of the huge skill boost +100% even at R11+, I am doing the most difficult grinds that I can.I switch to doing unlock/Appraisal/Search. The ideal plan would be to pick up R12 unlock maps in Ambon, but the archive map requires a culture of 30k.The culture there is only 26,600. My second choice is R12 maps in Lima. It takes 2minutes and 20-30 seconds to do one browse for me, depending on how many ornament effects bonus I get.
-----------
End of day R13 Appraisal.
=========
Jan 4,5, day 446
I work my appraisal all weekend and unlock 120 x R12 search/Unlock maps.
I make R15 Appraisal and go to St. Petersburg to refine it.It is my first adventure skill ever refined. The server wide skill booster is insane! it is +400% atlow levels. From doing a single browse in the archives I can get almost 500 skill points. at +300% the three times I measured, I got 360-408-412 appraisal skill per session of browsing.
Discovered Cappuccino Coast (Natural Phenomenon) in Ka'gari Australia.
Moved to India and changed to doing Theology/Search/Unlock maps.
=========
Jan 13, Day 454
I move to Lima and collect 30+ R12 Unlock/Search maps that open in NA SE and NA East Coast. I spend 3 days doing these maps.
----------
I move my base from Lima to San Francisco and start doing a Adventure skill grind for, Art, and Archeology.The grind is easy but boring.Take a train to SF, browse the archives and gain 150+ xp in that skill. Take the carriage to Sacramento, Train to Omaha, and train back to San Fran and do another archive browse. 10 cycles is 1500 skill points.
---------
I help another company mate get to R15 Cooking skill in preparation for the NA festival.
Tomorrow I will move to Boston and refill my college credits to 60k each by doing cooking theses.
-------
End of day i am R12 Archeology, R12 Art, R13+2 Refined Appraisal, R14 Search, R13 Unlock.
Did a whole lot more search/unlock maps from Lima and Made R14 unlock.
-------------
I find out from company mates that there is a Boston College skill for priests that give no headache when browsing archives..
it takes 160/5 or 32 theology discoveries to complete the Boston College thesis so I take it right away and grind out the discoveries in 2 days. I then spend the next 2 days standing in front of the scholar browsing the theology books to get to R15 and refine theology.I start back at R1+7 and get to R16+4.
----------
Last day of the skill boost I grind a bit of seasoning trade and store mineral trade on my alt and pick up medicine trade, made R10 medicine Trade.
---------
Sailed to new city Gabon in West Africa and did Jewelry Trade up to R10.
--------
End of Day i made R14 Unlock, R16+2 refined Theology, R14+2 refined Appraisal, R10 Jewelry Trade and R10 Medicine Trade,2079 Discoveries
I have mapped out my goal. Step 1 collect seaweed/grass and make approximately 4000 stomach medicine. I still have 1600 ventus reduction from my first run at experimental Alchemy.I know the ratio is off, as I could need upto 9600 stomach medicine, but that will take too long.I will then do goal #1, another push at alchemy.alchemy, but there is no particular reason to get it as from what I have read, there is no bonus. Then goal #2 is to work on Search , #3 Refine Unlock and work it as far as I can with the huge bonus; and #4 Art, again hopefully refined as far as I can while the skill boost is on. I will be doing maps from Calicut and Central Nile and the Persian Gulf.
-----------
If I have time, i will work sociabilty and accounts. My two weakest skills.
Made R10 Sundries Trade preparing to do my Alchemy run. I have 4200 stomach medicine, 1600 Ventus Reductions Ready, 4000 mercury and 4000 rare books stored in London. My goal will be to do 8000 mercury and 8000 rare books tomorrow and Sunday plus turn all my stomach medicine into as many headache medicine as I can.
---------
End of day i make R14 Alchemy and have 250 headache medicine.
I switch to Adventure mode. I initially start in India hoping to collect art maps and work my search and unlock skills, but the maps are too hard to collect. I change my College skill to only allow undiscovered maps. I then start from India and decide to work on discoveries.
----------
End of day I pass 2100 discoveries.
=========
Feb 12, Day 484
I grind all my adventure skills Archeology R15 and Art R15 in SanFrancisco. Before I go back to St.Petersburg to refine these two skills. I move to Lima as a Thief and collect up Search/unlock maps. I grind my Unlock to R15 as well.Search moves up much slower and is only 11k/19.6k at the end of this grind.
I work my Archeology back to R9+2 Refined and Art to R10+2 Refined. I switch to Bio/Geo and refine Biology and refine Geography. I take on the job of Astronomer an go at the last of the adventure skills.
--------------
Post Edit:If I did not explain this before, you can grind your adventure skills in SF by hopping on a train and going back and forth.It resets when you get to Omaha, so you have to take two trains, one away from then one back to SF.Then you can go to the scholar and browse the archives again.This is a great trick for new adventurers if there is a skill boost event going on!I did a lot of itwhile working on my real life emails, paying bills etc.
Discovered Broken Spectre (natural phenomenon) in Himalayan Region.
280/298 areas charted, 2222 discoveries.
=============
March 6th, Day 504
I am tired of adventure and switch to working my land battle skills. I sail to EA and start doing FSD as a Guerilla. I work Throw mostly, and stick all the EA goods into an aide bazaar. I start at R10, 1200/10,000 skill points. I will see how long it takes to get to R11+
--------------
Today after the update, Papaya announced a SW race.. just most SW raised. 1 of the top 3 prizes is a Refitted WJ. Which i think has convinced me to participate. I am starting with 206 current SW's
There is another feature recently brought on by Papaya called "Rare Goods" I have not had the time to research or explore them. In general, they are uncommon goods that are either found by travelling to far off places like "crocodile meat" in Australia, or by collecting the goods in landing zones, like mulburry.I do not have a complete list of the goods but there are around a dozen of them.I think 1-2 of them are "rare goods" at any one time and the rarity goes in cycles, typically going up until someone makes a big sale and crashes the market.In the cycle, "Spike" is the highest level and can get 50K + per good sold!
---------------------
I feel that I have a shot at making a top 3 finish.I skip all the other activities ESF, NA Festival.Just SW every day. One of the new features for SW is that there are several new NPC's 14 in total that can give you hints for where your SW is located.These are the new Fortune Tellers or Map Artisans, placed in different European cities. These really only help with maps that have no recognizable land masses.I Started with 2100 SWMP, and am averaging about +10 pieces per wreck.Each wreck takes about 25 pieces, but i get about -3 for having the title "Ship wreck Hunter"I also completed both SW Boston College Thesis, the first allows me to have a chance to unlock a treasure chest twice.The second acts as the same function as the Fortune Tellers, except that it tells me the exact sea location of my wreck.
------------------------
The plan was to do about 5 wrecks per day over 14 days and possible 10 on weekends, ending with a total of around 100 wrecks raised.I am on track for that.For what it is worth, I make Salvage R12.
I have been very busy with real life work. I only spent maybe 2h per day maximum doing shipwrecks during the race.I managed to finish in 17th place with 80 shipwrecks raised. I figure that I have made all of the SW discoveries as i did not make any in the last 80. They must recycle them after 200 or so.
---------
The system is doing an update today and supposedly we are getting a new level cap at 87.I am working on the last bit of my maritime to make level 85.I have no guns on and am just practicing melee skills in the Black Sea.
==============
March 31, Day 529
I did a BR every day. The rest is adventure maps/quests/charts.There is a race to level 87 in each class. Players have already made level 87 in trade and Maritime.Adventure is much more difficult. I expect that It will take me 60 days or so to make level 87 Adventure. Level 86 takes 540k xp.
-------------
I found an interesting alternate filler quest for Battle reports. I used to get the Deliver message to Athens Guild. Now i take the "Faith in Ancient Egypt" quest.My adventure skills are high enough that I do not even need to change jobs.I get an Amulet of the Sun to boot.
--------------
I will try to do about 10k adventure xp per day, in addition to the NA festivals and some land battle during the festival, and finish the last 10 or so charts, i think I can make 87 adventure in 60 days.
Did a Battle report every day this week and leveled maritime again. My filler quests are AOS.I fleeted with a few of my company mates and helped them to gain a few maritime levels. While doing the BR, I used my aide and corresponded with the Turks. I made "affection" and defected back to Ottoman permanently now. I can dump all my disguise from now on and take the carriage from Suez to Basra.
----------
While doing my AOS quests, I make R15 Search and go to St. Petersberg and refine it.
----------
After my last BR and becoming Ottoman, I switch back to Adventure quests and maps.
----------
I fleet with one of my company directors who leads a new feature called "Sea of Wonders".There are several prerequisites including at least one Treasure Hunt quest.
At the end of the SoW, you discover the Lighthouse of Alexandria.The main feature of this quest is to get more advanced + adventure items, they are typically +2, +3. There are also a lot of weathered and strange armor/sails and possibly cannons.I am not sure, but I believe these items are components similar to "Broken" armor/sails/cannons. You can use them to make the newest highest grade armor/sails/cannons etc.
I will skip most of this as it takes about 30 minutes to do one SoW and you only get about 1600xp (for repeating the discovery) and no skills.It is mostly if you need + items or components for ship parts.
------------
I will focus on Adventure discoveries and skills until next week's Thanksgiving festival.
----------
This week's progress. Made level 86 Maritime. Refined Search.
So I checked the leader board for the race to level 87.As I expected the trades finished first within a day. The Maritimers who were dedicated did battle reports in the Black Sea.Just prior to the beginning of the race, I noticed that there were NO AOS for sale in any Aide bazaar nor in any company shop in Seville or Lisbon.All of the maritimers racers had purchased them all up.
-----------
The Maritime leaderboard is about half filled up.What is really surprising is that there are SIX finishers of the Adventure race to level 87.The top place made it in a few days!!!
--------------
By chance I saw a discussion on the world chat that said you can get 4.3k xp for completing an Adventure final exam in Sagres AND that the quest was repeatable. Using this as an approximation and estimating it will take 15 minutes to do the quest (no filler quest needed as you can alternated final exams) you can get 15k adventure xp per hour instead of 15k per day.That is some serious xp!Unfortunately for me, today I am not able to make the adventure final show up. The Trade and Maritime final in Sagres are avaliable to me, but NOT the adventure final.I wonder why that is.
--------------
In the middle of the week, i take a break from adventure quests and grind some Trade skills.I use a pile of PO 3's and get Firearms trade to R11 and Refine Craft Trading.I end up at Craft R5+9 Refined trade.
---------------
I spend today day working on emails irl, and so i alternate doing adventure skill grinding in SF.
------
Post edit, I never figured out if or how to repeat or make the Sagres Final work. So this remains unconfirmed speculation to me.
Post edit: the day in the last post should be 542, not 532.
April 22, Day 551
I switch to Astronomer and start on a long run of Astronomy, Geography grinding. I try to figure out how toget to level 87 so fast.On the recommendation of another company mate, I try doing some Treasure Hunts.The process of combining clues gives a small amount of Adventure XP.I would say around 500 xp and 300 fame to work a clue from 2star up to say 14 or 15Star. Every Second level so so rewards you with some XP and Fame.Collecting clues used to be a long process, but This process can be combined with the Priests' Wisdom 2 and you can collect endless clues in the archives while you are in the Priest Job.I estimate that I can create upto 30 or so clues to 14th level in one day after collecting clues overnight.That would account for 15k or so xp per day.
-------------
The other hint that I got from the company member is that there is an item that allows you to do more than one Treasure Hunt per day.Treasure hunts would be a good source of xp if they could be repeated. Treasure hunts have one particular plus and one minus.They are similar to quests that you have all the clues for, and only need to make the discovery.If the TH ends in a landing area next to a capital, say Athens or Naples and all you have to do is go to the outskirts of town and pick up the Treasure and 2k xp they can be done very quickly. I estimate you can do a TH in 5 to 10 minutes without difficulty.

Sept 30th, Day 349
I start the day in NA collecting, but go
to the company building in Lisbon for our long planned company
Windriders/Stormriders event.
------------
Thanks to Taichen, JasmineRP and
Korendir for planning that. I was working for 95% of the event, but managed to
get in the company group photo. . The company
gave away approximately 35B in prizes! I had a photo but can't seem to insert it properly. I'll just leave a link to the Windrider clan website.
http://windrideracademy.clanwebsite.com/
---------
Afterthe event, I took the company liner to EA, and did a wreck in Siberia Sea East
and then some Nanban before coming back to San Fran -> Boston and Seville.
Oct 1st, Day 350
A few more quests and shipwrecks.
------
While in NA collecting white ore, I make
R15 collections. 1810 Discoveries.
=======
Oct 2nd, Day 351
Collecting in NA. Took a liner to EA,
did one.. yes one wreck in Siberia Sea East.
I loaded a company mate up with 2000
copper and 2000 copper ore into his aide bazaar, then did my own Nanban trade of Copper and
brought a load of EA goods back thru SF/Boston.
========
Oct 3rd, Day 352
Back to NA. Investing in railroads.
Collecting goods for XP.
=========
Oct 4th, Day 353
Spent the evening just handing out
copper ore and copper metal from Manilla to company mates trying to work up
their EA culture points. I wasn't even
in a metal trader type job, and my mineral trade skill was still R10+10,
Marchan Boots +2, Amulet +2, Refined skill +2, College skill +2, Golden Sceptre +2. Just cost me maybe 1500
vigor food.
=========
Oct 5th, Day 354.
Not much time to play the game anymore. Came
back from Ea with a load of goods, and set up an aide bazaar. Then I spent a
few hours in the evening helping 2 company mates work their sewing skills in
Oslo. I made R13 refined Sewing. I was R12+8, then R13+7. I probably gave away/used
a total of 4000 vigor food in that few hours.
========
Oct 6th, Day 355
Discovered "Secondary Rainbow"
(Natural Phenomenon) in Galapagos interior. Charted both Galapagos Island South
Coast and Galapagos Interior. I am at 267/287 areas charted. I am also close to
making level 85 adventure.
------
Did a couple of wrecks and made R11 Salvage and R10 recognition.
Oct 7th, Day 356
The timing of wrecks is much more
relaxed and I can actually make some decent money on the items I discover on a
wreck. In the past I would easily do 5+
wrecks per day which would typically lead to 20 or so items clogging up my
inventory, so I would put them in my Scurvy Trader's Junk aide Bazaar for 1
ducat each. Now I will do 2 wrecks tops and put the parts/items at a reasonable
price in my bazaar.
-----------
End of day, Passed 200 Shipwrecks, 1820
discoveries.
=========
Oct 8th Day 357
I did a couple shipwrecks and some
quests. On the way back from a wreck in northern Russia, I brought EA goods
back and put them up in a Bazaar. My alts EA culture is all 50k's.
--------
My adventure fame is more than my
maritime fame!... 401k vs 399K.
========
Oct 9-10 Day 358-359
Not much to report, a few quests in SEA,
Asia and a load of EA goods to bring back to NA.
Oct 11-12-13 Day 360,361,362
Again not much to report, over the last
few days. a few quests, a few ship wrecks, collecting in NA.
----------
Today I made level 85 Adventure.
---------
Switched to Maritime and will be doing a
1 battle report on weekend days and half a BR during week days. I will break that pattern if my company mates
need help with something or for the NA festival.
---------
The only thing of note here is that I
started doing the BR with my alt.. and decided to get the Supply corpse job
quest. I used a blessing of Poseidon and
went thru the Suez canal and quickly finished the quest. Now my alt can use surgery and repair while I
am in melee and I don't have to stop at ports to gain new sailors.
sorry for the long break....
Oct 14th Day 363
Another battle report in the Black Sea.
-----
My plunder skill is going up quickly. I have an aide with seize cargo and it is
active.
I also have successful plundering 2 and
general check active as two of my college skills.
I am fighting without guns and the
battles vs 4 fleets sometimes lasts 10+ minutes. My alt got from R1-R6 surgery
and R6-R8 repair in 1 battle report.
---------
On a funny note, while I was in melee vs
a 4 fleet, a low level pirate level 55 or so in a nice ship sailed back and
forth over me while I was fighting. He was hoping to catch me in a weakened state
after such a battle. Shortly after I won
that battle, he sailed past me again but
did not engage. I did initiate battle
with him. After a minute of trying to
engage him in melee, I left the battle ring as I could not catch him. He shot me several times but did not do much
damage. I had no guns, no armor and no
sails on my ship. So I went to port (Sevastapol)and put on some sails and made
some basic armor from Iron. When I set
sail again, the pirate was gone.
-----------
Tomorrow evening is NA festival, but I
have evening meetings. The only thing I can probably do is some theses to get
my credits back to 60k.
==========
Oct 15th, Day 364
Working all day and an evening meeting
to boot.
Not much to report. Just did a few
Boston College thesis and processed some chickens and eggs.
Oct 16th, Day 365.
Spent a couple hours in Boston doing
cook theses.

Oct 17-18, Day 366-367
Not much going on. Did lots of theses in
Boston while I was working on other stuff. Helped some other players get their
weapon finesse up.
==========
Oct 19-20, Day 368-369
Battle reports in the Black sea. I also
sailed to the Caribbean to do the Grand admiral quest. I need to skill my Arms
up to R9 to take advantage of my ship's skill "improved gun port"
---------
I complete the 5 chain quest and pick up the Job Grand Admiral.
--------
Before I take the job, I sail to Hamburg
and switch to Steam Engineer first. I work and make R12 Management.
==========
Oct 21-22, Day 370-371
More Battle reports in the black sea. I
switch to Grand Admiral and make R8 Arms.
Once I get to R9, I will switch from melee/arms grinding to cannoneer and
cannon skills.
--------
I make level 81 Maritime
85/85/81
October 25, Day 374
I completed two more Battle reports
since day 371 and finally made Arms R9.
========
October 28th, Day 377
I start off by going to Manchester to
make some Carronade 18's. I switch to
cannoneer job and begin my cannon skill grind in the Black sea. I completed two
more Battle reports since day 371. slowly grinding my cannon skills. I did not make any levels in skills, but the
skill points are slowly rising. Today Box #6 is available in NA, so I will take
a short break to help out some company mates, then go fill up on Box #6. I will have to do some Nanban runs as my cash
reserves are really low, Less than 500M.
========
October 31, Day 380
I am in EA, just bazaaring Huzhou
Brushes. I buy copper ore from manilla, process it and trade it in Huzhou. I put the brushes in an aide bazaar and go to
work or sleep.
2x per day and im doing ok. Not great
but I spend minimal time playing. I am just building up my cash stockpile.
=========
November 4th, Day 384
Not much to report.
I completed a couple of BR in the Black
Sea this weekend and made level 82
Maritime.
-------
85/85/82
Nov 5th, Day 385.
EA Brushes are selling for 56k in
Seville. The area is swamped with EA
goods. There is a new feature open
called "Rare Goods" They are typically normal goods but are in
high demand in different locations. I
have not done much research on the items, but it makes gathering ducats much
easier as well as Trade xp.
=====
Nov 8th, Day 388
In EA 3 days in a row. Just buying
copper ore in Manilla and trading it for brushes in Quanzhou. Not a lot of action, but its almost Ideal for
the 20 minutes I am on in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening. Trade for
some brushes, set up a bazaar and go to work. After work, trade for brushes ,
set up a bazaar and go to sleep!
=======
November 12, Day 392
Did 4 Battle reports in 3 days. I had to take a break after BR #3 to go
refill my inventory with 18' Carronades. Made
R12 Reload and am close to leveling maritime.
-----------
Thanksgiving Starts this evening so I
will swap to land battle mode and help out company mates if they want to level
and work finesse skills.
November 17, Day 397
I spent the festival days 1 hour doing land battles, helping company
mates work their finesse. My throwing
dagger finesse is now 30/17/14.
Obviously I was helping them work Power finesse. I also did some collecting of berries and
working my R16->R17 Cooking as a Chef with the Boston college chef skill
active. The new buildings in Boston
college is open and I obtained about 15 new Thesis opportunities.
------------
I checked my cultural contributions and
I made level 10. I have not been spending
any points taking multiple quests for a while now, so the points are stacking
up. This is my first time on this server
to make level 10.
---------
Yesterday and today I sailed to Istanbul
and restarted my Battle report grind.
I made
R12 Penetration and made 83 Maritime.
-----------
85/85/83
==============
Nov 18, Day 398
Spent the day in NA collecting White ore
to restock my MCCT's I am totally out. I
stay in NA in Newfoundland until I finish making 2800 MCCTs. I stock up on Berries as well before I sail
back to Europe.
Nov 19, Day 399
Back to the Black Sea doing Battle
Reports. I choose Swordmaster this time and work my melee skills. I make R11 Assault.
-------
Nov 24, Day 404
I changed up and do some adventure
quests during the week. On the weekend I help a company mate grind casting and
sewing.
-----------
I pass 1850 discoveries. No more quests from many cities now. I have
turned on Hide completed quests, so only some simple repeatable language quests
show up now (not chain quest fillers.)
==========
Nov 28th, Day 408
I am camped out in Jakarta. It is the city with the most open quests by
far. I only wish there was a closer
place to change jobs.
-----
Discovered Yellow Sand (Natural
Phenomenon) in Loess Plateau while doing the Great Wall of China quest.
-----
Passed 1900 discoveries.
December 2nd, Day 412
Still camped in Jakarta doing 3-4 quests
per day. and maybe 10 on the weekends.
--------
I did Leshan Giant Buddah Dungeon 3
times with a company mate. It is funny that I am sailing around with less than
full sails. Some of my sails were
damaged and now I have an empty slots. I
usually seal them from my alt, but he has ZERO sails on his ship. Because I do
most of my sailing AFK with tow permits, it does not really bother me. I have gone from 200/200 tow permits down to
about 75/75 in the last ten days. Other than that , not much to report.
-------
Passed 1930 discoveries.
========
December 5th, Day 415
Discovered Antisolar Rays (Natural
Phenomenon) in Guam.
Passed 1960 Discoveries.
December 15th, Day 425
That is the longest break between post
so far. I have been super busy with work and only get on to do 3 quests per
day.
-----------
There was a NA festival this week and I
just went and set up to do collections and cooking/storing chickens/eggs. From all the berries I collected, I fished a
ton and turn them all into salted fish nuts.
I took the Bostston Cook thesis and made R17+3 cooking base. (R17
cooking +1 Job+2 Refined= R20 without any aides or items)
--------
This weekend is the first chance I really got
to do some adventuring. I did about 10
quest per day. My adventure fame is
close to max now 446,000 adventure fame. I will have to defect very soon.
--------
Passed 2020 discoveries.
======
Dec 21 Day 431
Did 2 battle reports in India (Safe
Waters). Made Reload R13. Moved to Europe and found that I will need 200
patriot awards to defect from Ottoman to Dutch. I leveled in Maritime. There is a boost to everything now on now for
the new launching of Uncharted Waters again on Steam. It will last until January 23rd or so. It is sad that This is 430+ days after the
launch. I used to play from Steam, but no more.
----------
Switched to Trade skills. Geared up and
used up a lot of PO3's and went from R8 to R12+8 Craft Trade. College +2, Coral
Jewelery +2 Aide +1, Line of Chiftains Clothes +2, Dance Company boots +1. I am ready for the Nanban sale in
SanFrancisco.
--------
I also worked on my Spice Trade Skill. Refined
Spice Trade.
--------
Ended up really low on funds so I
decided to do a couple of EA runs.
Dec 23rd, Day 433
Did a few more runs to EA. I spent a lot
of money to buy Box #6 from the Millionaire in Boston. It is a good deal as the
two worst items are a tunic and bagels.
The bagels come in really handy while I am in Manilla. I have moved up
from trading copper to now trading in Western Books. With refined textile trade, I purchase lots
of manilla and convert it into paper and then books. The bagels really help as it takes a lot of
vigor to use "fibre order" the new skill that comes with refined
textile trade.
==========
Dec 25th Day 435
Made R10 firearms trade, R11 Luxury Trade and R12 Alcohol Trade., R10
Metal Trade.
=========
Dec 31st, Day 441
Starting on my Alchemy Grind. From R10,
1112/10,000. I start with making +2 furniture in Venice. The goal is R13 by January 10th. Started off with +2 furniture in Venice. It
is a huge benefit to have refined wares trade, and R11+7 Craft Trade. I stocked up on Lumber in Beirut and
Glassware in Naples and set up to grind in Venice. At the end of that grind, I used up about
2600 stomach meds and maybe 800 Ventus Reductions and 800 Funnels. All of these items were left over from my
last Alchemy grind and I didn't have enough time to make a ton of stomach
meds. I can't remember, but I think the
2600 stomach meds I stockpiled after the last Papaya skill booster bonus.
--------
Made Alchemy R11 2730/12,100
Jan 1st, Day 442
More Alchemy. I scrounged up some clay
and made about 10 (+3 consumable) and 10
(+3 trade good) furniture. It was more
for the consumable furniture that I needed to make because the Alchemy
Experiments with stomach meds damages the furniture when it fails.
Switched to making R12 Gold recipes. I
am R11+1 for job and can make gold with 15 mercury and 15 Rare books. This time its Wares trade in Seville. I take
and stockpile 4000 Mercury in London. I get about 3000 western books in
Amsterdam with R9+7 Sundries Trade, then buy 12,000 Paper in London to turn
them into 4000 Rare books.
------------
End of day I make Alchemy R12
=========
Jan 2nd, Day 443
More of the same. I run out of bagels!
750 #6 boxes and I eat every bagel. Too
bad wares trade is not a preferred skill for Alchemists. I would be R15 Refined
already.
I have over 500 headache meds and 1000's
of gold which I just sell at the market keeper.
-----
End of day I make Alchemy R13 and have the Adept Title.
Jan 3, Day 444
to take advantage of the huge skill
boost +100% even at R11+, I am doing the most difficult grinds that I can. I switch to doing unlock/Appraisal/Search.
The ideal plan would be to pick up R12 unlock maps in Ambon, but the archive
map requires a culture of 30k. The
culture there is only 26,600. My second choice is R12 maps in Lima. It takes 2minutes and 20-30 seconds to do one
browse for me, depending on how many ornament effects bonus I get.
-----------
End of day R13 Appraisal.
=========
Jan 4,5, day 446
I work my appraisal all weekend and unlock
120 x R12 search/Unlock maps.
I make R15 Appraisal and go to St.
Petersburg to refine it. It is my first
adventure skill ever refined. The server wide skill booster is insane! it is
+400% at low levels. From doing a single
browse in the archives I can get almost 500 skill points. at +300% the three
times I measured, I got 360-408-412 appraisal skill per session of browsing.
----------
End of day I am back at R9+7 refined
appraisal.
Jan 7, Day 448
Discovered Cappuccino Coast (Natural Phenomenon)
in Ka'gari Australia.
Moved to India and changed to doing
Theology/Search/Unlock maps.
=========
Jan 13, Day 454
I move to Lima and collect 30+ R12
Unlock/Search maps that open in NA SE and NA East Coast. I spend 3 days doing
these maps.
----------
I move my base from Lima to San
Francisco and start doing a Adventure skill grind for, Art, and
Archeology. The grind is easy but
boring. Take a train to SF, browse the
archives and gain 150+ xp in that skill. Take the carriage to Sacramento, Train
to Omaha, and train back to San Fran and do another archive browse. 10 cycles
is 1500 skill points.
---------
I help another company mate get to R15
Cooking skill in preparation for the NA festival.
Tomorrow I will move to Boston and
refill my college credits to 60k each by doing cooking theses.
-------
End of day i am R12 Archeology, R12 Art,
R13+2 Refined Appraisal, R14 Search, R13 Unlock.
Jan 22, Day 463
Did a whole lot more search/unlock maps
from Lima and Made R14 unlock.
-------------
I find out from company mates that there
is a Boston College skill for priests that give no headache when browsing
archives..
it takes
160/5 or 32 theology discoveries to complete the Boston College thesis
so I take it right away and grind out the discoveries in 2 days. I then spend
the next 2 days standing in front of the scholar browsing the theology books to
get to R15 and refine theology. I start
back at R1+7 and get to R16+4.
----------
Last day of the skill boost I grind a
bit of seasoning trade and store mineral trade on my alt and pick up medicine
trade, made R10 medicine Trade.
---------
Sailed to new city Gabon in West Africa
and did Jewelry Trade up to R10.
--------
End of Day i made R14 Unlock, R16+2
refined Theology, R14+2 refined Appraisal, R10 Jewelry Trade and R10 Medicine
Trade, 2079 Discoveries
Jan 29, Day 470
The skill boost has been extended to
February 20.
--------------
I have mapped out my goal. Step 1
collect seaweed/grass and make approximately 4000 stomach medicine. I still
have 1600 ventus reduction from my first run at experimental Alchemy. I know the ratio is off, as I could need upto
9600 stomach medicine, but that will take too long. I will then do goal #1, another push at
alchemy. alchemy, but there is no
particular reason to get it as from what I have read, there is no bonus. Then
goal #2 is to work on Search , #3 Refine Unlock and work it as far as I can
with the huge bonus; and #4 Art, again hopefully refined as far as I can while
the skill boost is on. I will be doing maps from Calicut and Central Nile and the
Persian Gulf.
-----------
If I have time, i will work sociabilty
and accounts. My two weakest skills.
Feb 1, 2019 Day 473 Friday
Made R10 Sundries Trade preparing to do
my Alchemy run. I have 4200 stomach medicine, 1600 Ventus Reductions Ready,
4000 mercury and 4000 rare books stored in London. My goal will be to do 8000
mercury and 8000 rare books tomorrow and Sunday plus turn all my stomach
medicine into as many headache medicine as I can.
---------
End of day i make R14 Alchemy and have
250 headache medicine.
Feb 3, Day 475
I switch to Adventure mode. I initially
start in India hoping to collect art maps and work my search and unlock skills,
but the maps are too hard to collect. I change my College skill to only allow
undiscovered maps. I then start from India and decide to work on discoveries.
----------
End of day I pass 2100 discoveries.
=========
Feb 12, Day 484
I grind all my adventure skills Archeology R15 and Art R15 in
SanFrancisco. Before I go back to St.Petersburg to refine these two skills. I
move to Lima as a Thief and collect up Search/unlock maps. I grind my Unlock to R15 as well. Search moves up much slower and is only
11k/19.6k at the end of this grind.
Feb 18, Day 490
I work my Archeology back to R9+2 Refined and Art to R10+2 Refined. I switch to Bio/Geo and refine Biology and refine
Geography. I take on the job of Astronomer an go at the last of the
adventure skills.
--------------
Post Edit: If I did not explain this before, you can
grind your adventure skills in SF by hopping on a train and going back and
forth. It resets when you get to Omaha,
so you have to take two trains, one away from then one back to SF. Then you can go to the scholar and browse the
archives again. This is a great trick
for new adventurers if there is a skill boost event going on! I did a lot of it while working on my real life emails, paying
bills etc.
Feb 24, Day 496

just north of the Scandinavia West Coast around 360:1600

March 6th, Day 504
I am tired of adventure and switch to
working my land battle skills. I sail to EA and start doing FSD as a Guerilla.
I work Throw mostly, and stick all the EA goods into an aide bazaar. I start at
R10, 1200/10,000 skill points. I will see how long it takes to get to R11+
--------------
Today after the update, Papaya announced
a SW race.. just most SW raised. 1 of the top 3 prizes is a Refitted WJ. Which
i think has convinced me to participate. I am starting with 206 current SW's
March 11th, Day 509
-------------------------
There is another feature recently
brought on by Papaya called "Rare Goods" I have not had the time to research or explore
them. In general, they are uncommon goods that are either found by travelling
to far off places like "crocodile meat" in Australia, or by
collecting the goods in landing zones, like mulburry. I do not have a complete list of the goods
but there are around a dozen of them. I
think 1-2 of them are "rare goods" at any one time and the rarity
goes in cycles, typically going up until someone makes a big sale and crashes
the market. In the cycle,
"Spike" is the highest level and can get 50K + per good sold!
---------------------
I feel that I have a shot at making a
top 3 finish. I skip all the other
activities ESF, NA Festival. Just SW
every day. One of the new features for SW is that there are several new NPC's
14 in total that can give you hints for where your SW is located. These are the new Fortune Tellers or Map
Artisans, placed in different European cities.
These really only help with maps that have no recognizable land masses. I Started with 2100 SWMP, and am averaging
about +10 pieces per wreck. Each wreck
takes about 25 pieces, but i get about -3 for having the title "Ship wreck
Hunter" I also completed both SW Boston
College Thesis, the first allows me to have a chance to unlock a treasure chest
twice. The second acts as the same
function as the Fortune Tellers, except that it tells me the exact sea location
of my wreck.
------------------------
The plan was to do about 5 wrecks per
day over 14 days and possible 10 on weekends, ending with a total of around 100
wrecks raised. I am on track for
that. For what it is worth, I make
Salvage R12.
----------------------
End of day 245 SW raised
March 27, Day 525
I have been very busy with real life
work. I only spent maybe 2h per day maximum doing shipwrecks during the
race. I managed to finish in 17th place
with 80 shipwrecks raised. I figure that
I have made all of the SW discoveries as i did not make any in the last 80.
They must recycle them after 200 or so.
---------
The system is doing an update today and
supposedly we are getting a new level cap at 87. I am working on the last bit of my maritime
to make level 85. I have no guns on and
am just practicing melee skills in the Black Sea.
==============
March 31, Day 529
I did a BR every day. The rest is
adventure maps/quests/charts. There is a
race to level 87 in each class. Players have already made level 87 in trade and
Maritime. Adventure is much more
difficult. I expect that It will take me 60 days or so to make level 87 Adventure.
Level 86 takes 540k xp.
-------------
I found an interesting alternate filler
quest for Battle reports. I used to get the Deliver message to Athens Guild.
Now i take the "Faith in Ancient Egypt" quest. My adventure skills are high enough that I do
not even need to change jobs. I get an
Amulet of the Sun to boot.
--------------
I will try to do about 10k adventure xp
per day, in addition to the NA festivals and some land battle during the
festival, and finish the last 10 or so charts, i think I can make 87 adventure
in 60 days.
--------------
Made level 85 Maritime.
85/85/85
April 7, 2019 Day 536
Did a Battle report every day this week
and leveled maritime again. My filler quests are AOS. I fleeted with a few of my company mates and
helped them to gain a few maritime levels.
While doing the BR, I used my aide and corresponded with the Turks. I
made "affection" and defected back to Ottoman permanently now. I can
dump all my disguise from now on and take the carriage from Suez to Basra.
----------
While doing my AOS quests, I make R15
Search and go to St. Petersberg and refine it.
----------
After my last BR and becoming Ottoman, I
switch back to Adventure quests and maps.
----------
I fleet with one of my company directors
who leads a new feature called "Sea of Wonders". There are several prerequisites including at
least one Treasure Hunt quest.
At the end of the SoW, you discover the
Lighthouse of Alexandria. The main
feature of this quest is to get more advanced + adventure items, they are
typically +2, +3. There are also a lot of weathered and strange armor/sails and
possibly cannons. I am not sure, but I
believe these items are components similar to "Broken"
armor/sails/cannons. You can use them to make the newest highest grade
armor/sails/cannons etc.
I will skip most of this as it takes
about 30 minutes to do one SoW and you only get about 1600xp (for repeating the
discovery) and no skills. It is mostly
if you need + items or components for ship parts.
------------
I will focus on Adventure discoveries
and skills until next week's Thanksgiving festival.
----------
This week's progress. Made level 86
Maritime. Refined Search.
85/85/86
Aprill 13, Day 532
So I checked the leader board for the
race to level 87. As I expected the
trades finished first within a day. The Maritimers who were dedicated did
battle reports in the Black Sea. Just
prior to the beginning of the race, I noticed that there were NO AOS for sale
in any Aide bazaar nor in any company shop in Seville or Lisbon. All of the maritimers racers had purchased
them all up.
-----------
The Maritime leaderboard is about half
filled up. What is really surprising is
that there are SIX finishers of the Adventure race to level 87. The top place made it in a few days!!!
--------------
By chance I saw a discussion on the
world chat that said you can get 4.3k xp for completing an Adventure final exam
in Sagres AND that the quest was repeatable.
Using this as an approximation and estimating it will take 15 minutes to
do the quest (no filler quest needed as you can alternated final exams) you can
get 15k adventure xp per hour instead of 15k
per day. That is some serious
xp! Unfortunately for me, today I am not
able to make the adventure final show up.
The Trade and Maritime final in Sagres are avaliable to me, but NOT the
adventure final. I wonder why that is.
--------------
In the middle of the week, i take a
break from adventure quests and grind some Trade skills. I use a pile of PO 3's and get Firearms trade to R11 and Refine Craft
Trading. I end up at Craft R5+9
Refined trade.
---------------
I spend today day working on emails irl,
and so i alternate doing adventure skill grinding in SF.
------
Post edit, I never figured out if or how to repeat or make the Sagres Final work. So this remains unconfirmed speculation to me.
April 22, Day 551
I switch to Astronomer and start on a
long run of Astronomy, Geography grinding.
I try to figure out how to get to
level 87 so fast. On the recommendation
of another company mate, I try doing some Treasure Hunts. The process of combining clues gives a small
amount of Adventure XP. I would say
around 500 xp and 300 fame to work a clue from 2star up to say 14 or 15Star.
Every Second level so so rewards you with some XP and Fame. Collecting clues used to be a long process,
but This process can be combined with the Priests' Wisdom 2 and you can collect
endless clues in the archives while you are in the Priest Job. I estimate that I can create upto 30 or so
clues to 14th level in one day after collecting clues overnight. That would account for 15k or so xp per day.
-------------
The other hint that I got from the
company member is that there is an item that allows you to do more than one
Treasure Hunt per day. Treasure hunts
would be a good source of xp if they could be repeated. Treasure hunts have one
particular plus and one minus. They are
similar to quests that you have all the clues for, and only need to make the
discovery. If the TH ends in a landing
area next to a capital, say Athens or Naples and all you have to do is go to
the outskirts of town and pick up the Treasure and 2k xp they can be done very quickly.
I estimate you can do a TH in 5 to 10 minutes without difficulty.
